Conservative up and comers Charlie Kirk and Candace Owens do not yet have enough life experience or the wisdom that develops with age to tell you how the world around you operates. That doesn’t stop either of them from thinking they have it all figured out. They are both also full of crap.
They say what you want to hear with just the right amount of “oomph” to make you believe it. You get excited for a revolution that you didn’t even know you needed.
Simple. Just say the word “Fact!” with confidence before spewing out diar-rhetoric that cannot be backed up with any reputable source or witness.
It doesn’t matter if they believe what they are saying. It’s enough that the people that follow verbal diarrhea think they do.
Ms. Owens is the Carlton Banks of Black Women, but one gets a sense that she perceives herself Caucasian while aspiring to be Harriet Tubman. She proclaimed that the black voters would change America and then she didn’t even bother to vote in 2016.
Candace Owens, the token darling of the “Make America great again” crowd, ran a blog that frequently mocked Donald Trump throughout the 2016 presidential campaign.
A story she ran was a critical look at Trump’s Muslim ban titled, “Serious Question: Is Donald Trump a Social Experiment, in which the writer compared Trump to Hitler.
She also blogged on how Trump can still be a racist even if he’s married to an immigrant; and a satirical “investigation” into the size of Trump’s penis (spoiler: probably small, the story concludes).
According to his website, Charlie Kirk is the Founder and Executive Director of Turning Point USA, a national student movement dedicated to identifying, organizing, and empowering young people to promote the principles of free markets, and limited government. I was not surprised to find that in December 2017, former employees of his organization accused it of engaging in racist practices, as well as potentially illegal involvement in the 2016 presidential election.
Former employees and student volunteers for Turning Point claimed they had witnessed collusion between high-ranking Turning Point employees — including Kirk himself and top advisor Ginni Thomas — and the presidential campaigns of both Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. The interactions included Kirk coordinating via email with two officials at a pro-Cruz super PAC to send student volunteers to work for the PAC in South Carolina, as well as two students requested by Thomas, via voicemail, to distribute over 200 Cruz placards in Wisconsin.
A former employee for Turning Point, who had been based in Florida, alleged that Turning Point had given the personal information of over 700 student supporters to an employee with Rubio’s presidential campaign.
In October 2016, Kirk participated in a Fox News event along with Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Lara Trump that had a pro-Donald Trump tone. A Turning Point staff member wrote on Facebook that students who attended the event would have their expenses covered. The incident led tax experts to say the organization’s conduct may have violated its tax-exempt status, a charge disputed by Turning Point.
According to Jane Mayer of the New Yorker, these activities may violate Turning Point’s 501(c) nonprofit legal status which does not allow them to “endorse candidates or support political campaigns.”
At this point, this information is useless. These people will get away with whatever crimes they have committed or are committing. Anyone that is empowered to do something about it won’t
I will never knock anyone for aiming to get a higher education, and Charlie did just that when he attended Harper College, a local community college, after his rejection at West Point. However, I will knock and lose any respect for an institute of higher learning that produces alumni as indifferent in research and evidence as Kirk appears to be.
His Tweets caught my attention because most seem to have a childlike smugness about them. I suspect that he considers each Tweet he Twats a “Gotcha” nugget of wisdom. Well, they’re not.
Most of his mis tweets can be debunked in minutes or have already proven false years ago.
He has no regard for any truth. He doesn’t cite any sources, most of his messages are opinions.
Like this for example
Okay, so I hate all the walls now because I oppose the Border Wall. What is wrong with a mind that would deduce this kind of reasoning? See The Diar·Rhetoric Reasoning of Conservatives
Does anyone believe that all Liberals live in gated communities?
Next: We do not hate guns, this argument that they insist on using, even though I presume these people cannot be that dense and dumb, is a wasted rebuttal.
Liberals are gun owners. We own guns for the same reason the deplorable have firearms; to protect our home and families.
Never in my existence has there ever been a campaign to rid the US of firearms.
I could delve deeper into what Democrats have asked for from lawmakers and what we are trying to prevent, but people like Charlie Kirk do not care for the truth.
Conservatives need to believe that we are trying to take their guns; otherwise, there would be no argument, and I guess no purpose in employing loud mouth rabid pundits, like the delightful natural raven-haired Tomi Lahren, Charlie Kirk, and Token, I mean Candace.
Charlie continues that we are walking around with armed guards.
I would like to see what his source was for stating that we also hate school choice. That is just a ridiculous comment.
Conclusively, he writes: Leftists want to tell YOU how to live and do something different entirely themselves.”
That is another shallow opinion.
We never deny anyone the right to pursue their happiness.
It has been the GOP that wants to know what gay couples in Texas are doing in their private bedroom and they want us to be very specific.
It is the GOP that wants a say in who we love.
It’s the GOP that doesn’t want to allow a person that was born a woman and now looks like Bluto to pee in a men’s room
It is the GOP that would want to keep gay couples from marrying each other because it’s an affront to the sanctity of opposite-sex marriages that are ordained by God of the Bible.
Marriage predates the Bible.
Those that oppose are okay with TV shows like “The Proposal, ” a game show that ends with a marriage proposal in 60 minutes, you know like in the Bible.
They are at peace with the choices Kim Davis, the clerk that wouldn’t issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples in Kentucky, has made.
Ms. Davis’ first three marriages ended in divorce in 1994, 2006, and 2008; she then remarried her second husband in 2009
She gave birth to twins five months after divorcing her first husband. Her third husband fathered them but adopted by her second.
They are okay with Trump marrying the mistresses he slept with while he was married.
Charlie Kirk is a just a kid with a platform.
Be wise, Be an adult. Be an educated voter. Research his claims yourself. Knowledge is the force that will prevail in the long run.
He can be persuasive, and the mindless one-sided compassion-lacking, holier than thou citizen will be sure to follow.
I am not impressed, and I admit that I impress easily. Sorry, Charlie.
